Bellamonte International Camp: info for parents
Parents can call between 19:30 to 20:30 to talk to their children. The secretary’s office is available, for your every need, every day from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00. We kindly ask parents and relatives not to call every day, to promote the child’s integration and to allow everyone to receive phone calls especially at the beginning of the holiday period. Management is committed to calling the families with the utmost promptness if necessary.
If they want, the kids can use their mobile phones from 19:30 to 20:30. Otherwise, they will be kept secure in the office where they can also be charged.
Health and medical expenses
The completed health forms, a copy of the Italian health card or other health insurance, and photocopies of up-to-date certificates of vaccination must be included in the camper’s suitcase and arrive with the camper at Bellamonte. Any important health information (e.g. food intolerances, allergies, bedwetting, etc.) must be communicated via email to Bellamonte International Camp at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 30 days prior to arrival.
Please indicate on the health form if the camper will be bringing any dental equipment and/or eyeglasses. Any expenses for doctor visits and medicines will be charged to the family.
If necessary, it is possible for parents to arrange a meeting with the camp directors in Milan from May 1 to June 15.
If they wish, parents may visit their child and take them off-site only on Sunday, July 7, 2018, and Sunday, July 21, 2018.
On the other days of camp, there are trips, walks, and many other activities planned. Therefore visits are not allowed outside of the above mentioned dates.
If the parents want to allow other relatives or friends to visit and take their child out on one of the above mentioned dates, the parent must provide management with written authorization and the full name(s) and personal details of the visitor(s).
What to Bring
We recommend sportswear marked (with full name, initials, or any other way to identify the articles of clothing). The list below is only a suggestion and refers to a 14 or 21-day stay. We encourage parents not to let child over pack. The camper’s name must be clearly displayed on the suitcase or luggage tag. Inside the suitcase, please provide a list of the items packed.

For camping out overnight, each camper should bring a sleeping bag.
If the camper does not have a sleeping bag, a disposable paper bed sheet is provided for 3€. Bellamonte International Camp is not liable in case of loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.
A deposit for personal spending, the 2 activities per week and any other additional costs (e.g. local transfers, ski lifts, museum admission, etc.) must be included in an envelope with the completed forms and given directly to management at the departure point in Milan for those coming by bus or at the hotel office for those coming with their parents to Bellamonte.
