International Camp Sancelso: info for parents

Parents can call between 20:00 to 21:00 to talk to their children. The secretary’s office is available, for your every need, every day from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00. We kindly ask parents and relatives not to call every day, to promote the child’s integration and to allow everyone to receive phone calls especially at the beginning of the holiday period. Management is committed to calling the families with the utmost promptness if necessary. If they want, the kids can use their mobile phones from 20:00 to 21:00.  The mobile phones will be kept secure in the office where they can also be charged. Ph. Secretary: +39 0346 60051

Sanitary sheet and medical expenses

At the moment of online registration, medical information about the participant’s health will be requested; a copy of the health card or other health insurance (valid for Italy) and copies of  certificates of vaccination with all the previous vaccinations must be included in the participant registration form. Parents are advised to carry out a thorough check for pediculosis before departure. Upon arrival, all participants will be visited and in case of positivity, the family will be charged for the cost of personal treatment and the costs of sanitizing the rooms, linen and objects of use of the entire group. Any expenses for doctor’s visits and medicines will be charged to the family. If necessary, it is possible for parents to arrange a meeting with the camp directors in Milan or via Skype from May 1st to June 10th. Parents are invited to read the Camp Rules.

Sleeping Bag

A sleeping bag is required for the camp out: for hygienic reasons, each participant should have their own (in case of emergency, we can borrow one).

Pocket Money

The fee is at the discretion of the Parents; we suggest a maximum amount of € 50,00 per week. Pocket money means, e.g. small personal expenses like ice cream/snacks, admission to museums and shows, lift facilities, local transfers, any medical examinations and personal medication, etc. At the end of the camp the balance of the small personal expenses will be given to the participant.
The sum must be included (with the specific completed form) in a sealed envelope with the name of the participant, and delivered directly to the person in charge at the departure in Milan for those traveling by bus, or to the secretariat of the Villa for those arriving with their parents in Castione.
